Sys Optimizer is an optimization tool for Windows. Its primary task is to automatically search and optimize those files that you don't use anymore. It has a user friendly interface and it is very easy to use. There is also a section where you can view the programs which are running, pretty much exactly like the one in the Windows task manager.
Most people forget that temporary files can add up and occupy a lot of space on the hard drive if they are not cleaned up regularly. This is where a program like Sys Optimizer comes in handy, because it does all the work for you. Once you start the program and press the Scan Items button, it will scan your computer for files which are no longer useful. You can select which files you want the program to look for from its options menu. It can also clean up the Internet browser history and logs.
I liked the fact that the program works really fast. It took almost no time to scan and optimize my computer, and I hadn't done it for quite some time. I got back close to 500 MB of space that was being used up by the temporary files. Another nice feature that I liked about the program is that you can easily uninstall other programs. It has a section called "software" where you can see all the programs that are installed on your computer. It is similar to the Windows' Add/Remove programs tool.
Sys Optimizer has a good amount of features to make it a good program, however I still feel that other tools could have been added. Other programs of the same type can actually improve the performance of your computer. This one, however, is mostly used for cleaning up.
